Networking That Goes Beyond the Meeting
Mid-Ohio Business Builders is built around meaningful relationships, qualified referrals, and a commitment to helping one another succeed. Our one-member-per-industry approach creates opportunities for members to become trusted resources within their industries and their community.
Build genuine relationships with local business owners.
Share referrals, knowledge, and opportunities.
Strengthen your business through trusted connections.
Four Principles. One Powerful Network.
Our approach is designed to turn introductions into relationships, relationships into referrals, and referrals into real opportunities.
It All Begins With the Referral
Qualified referrals are at the heart of what we do. By understanding one another's businesses, we can confidently connect our clients, customers, friends, and colleagues with trusted professionals.
Deepening Relationships Through 1:1s
One-on-one meetings give members the opportunity to learn more about each other's businesses, goals, strengths, and ideal clients. These conversations build the trust that makes meaningful referrals possible.
Networking and Leadership Insights
Our meetings provide practical opportunities to sharpen networking, communication, and leadership skills while learning from fellow business owners and professionals.
Your Industry. Your Opportunity.
With one member per industry, you have the opportunity to become the trusted resource people think of when they need the products or services you provide.
Structured for connection.
Designed for growth.
Arrive early to connect with fellow members, then join us for a focused meeting designed to help members know one another, support one another, and create opportunities together.

Committees That Make a Difference
Committees are where participation meets purpose. Members work together to support the community, foster connections, and create lasting impact—both for MOBB and for the people and organizations we serve.
-
Community Outreach focuses on increasing MOBB’s visibility and recognition throughout Richland County. The committee also identifies and supports organizations we can contribute to, as funds allow. Members are encouraged to participate in holiday drives and other charitable efforts that benefit the community. All donations require approval from leadership.
-
The Membership Team develops creative strategies to attract new members in high-need industries. They also support the President in engaging visitors and encouraging attendance at meetings. When an application is received, the committee leader contacts references and reports findings to the Vice President, who chairs the Membership Committee.
-
This committee manages three key areas of MOBB: member retention, education, and mentoring. The team focuses on engaging members and encouraging participation to support retention. The education component covers effective networking, accurate completion of slips, attendance expectations, and ongoing learning for all members. New members are actively mentored to help them quickly assimilate and feel confident within the group.
-
The Social Committee organizes MOBB gatherings outside regular meetings each season, with the highlight being the annual MOBB Christmas Party. All events are subject to approval by the leadership team.
Leadership is about stewardship.
Our leadership team helps create the structure, accountability, and support that allow MOBB members to build meaningful relationships, support one another, and grow together.
